Chinese Government Scholarship

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges between China and other countries in the world, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE), is responsible for the admission of Chinese Government Scholarship programs. Read more about the CSC Scholarship.

A total of 279 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Law, Economics, Management, Education, Liberal Arts, Philosophy, History and Fine Arts for scholarship winners at all levels.

The Education Office of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco is authorized to receive applications from states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Northern California. Applicants should be non-Chinese nationals.
