In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges between China and other countries in the world, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. The Education Office of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco is authorized to receive applications from states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Northern California. Applicants should be non-Chinese nationals.
