Meaghan Bogart has been with GSI since 2022. Through her career in the nonprofit sector and now at the UO, Meaghan has coordinated both large and small events, managed contracts for visiting scholars, and now is the primary grant administrator for GSI. She also works closely with UO faculty in support of GSI’s many Academic Centers.
She graduated with her BA from Seattle University with a double major in International Studies and Spanish (¡Habla español!). During her time at SU, she worked closely with a faculty member conducting anthropological research in Nicaragua, enabling her to work closely with Nicaraguan faculty and students from the Universidad de Centroamericana in Managua. Her work with UCA faculty and students laid the foundation for her continued commitment to global collaboration and what led her to GSI. Meaghan is currently completing a Masters in Public Administration with a focus in International Development.
