The Global Studies Institute (GSI) in the UO Office of International Affairs announces a new initiative, the Global Oregon Faculty Collaboration Fund, to promote research collaboration between UO faculty and colleagues at international partner institutions.
Global Oregon Faculty Research Travel Funds
The University of Oregon's Global Studies Institute is offering international research travel awards of up to $1000 in support of the research activities of UO faculty. Priority will go toward research projects, though travel to present research at international conferences will also be considered.
Global Oregon Undergraduate Awards
The Global Oregon Initiative invites UO undergraduate students to apply for one of ten $500 research awards offered to support global education experiences (intensive study abroad, international internships, international research opportunities, participation in international events).
Global Oregon Graduate Research Awards
The Global Oregon Initiative invites UO graduate students to apply for one of five $2,000 research awards offered to support international research. It promotes internationalization in the student experience, in research, and in our outreach to the state and the world.
Global Oregon Summer Translation Studies Awards
Under the auspices of Global Oregon, the Translation Studies Working Group invites applications from UO graduate students for two $1000 awards. UO undergraduate students can apply for two $500 awards. Each award will support an internationally oriented project in literary translation.
Al Mana Academic Year Fellowship
With funding from a significant gift from Dr. Aisha Almana, a UO graduate, hospital executive and prominent feminist, the UO is able to offer full scholarships for Saudi women to study global health at the UO.
Faculty Seed Grant for Research Collaboration with GlobalPDX
The Office of International Affairs is accepting applications from UO faculty (TTF and NTTF) for a Seed Grant intended to support UO faculty research that will benefit from a collaboration with a member organization of the GlobalPDX consortium.
