Blood Pressure Responses During and After Resistance Exercise: Clinical Implications

Where: Knight Library, Proctor 42

A Public Lecture by Claudia Forjaz, University of São Paulo

Claudia Forjaz is an imminent clinical researcher, who has performed extensive studies on post-exercise hypotension across clinical populations, and how recovery from exercise is associated with long-term outcomes in patients with existing cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension  and peripheral artery disease. The strengths of her research are in studying the relevant clinical populations, conducting exercise intervention studies in patients, and performing a wide range of clinically important measurements to support these studies.
